I work with an organization called Youth Empowerment America, and help to run a program called Soul Renaissance. We are located in Atlanta , GA.
Over the past 2 years we have brought over 1000 kids and adults out on field trips and have guided them in the earthen building process.
This building is the work of mostly young kids ages 5-10, with a little help from the adults. This structure is practically downtown, located behind the the Ga Hunger Coalition, a non-profit organization devoted to ending homelessness and hunger in Georgia. The roof will go up soon.

Another wonderful organization and website is Cal Earth. These folks are doing some amazing things with earthen construction. They also offer their methods as a feasible way for people to rebuild their own homes in disaster areas. Their structures are beautiful and seemingly easy to build. This seems like a wonderful option for us all in the future to me. Stay tuned for many more earthen building sites and organizations.
Cal Earth also offers Apprenticeship courses at fairly reasonable prices.
