“Hi my name is, joOp (Wolters) I was born on 08-06-1971 in a place called Middelburg residing in the Netherlands. I am an autodidact composer/musician who started to play guitar/bass at the age of 15. I learned making music mainly by coming up with my own stuff and listening to records. I love to compose, improvise, and record music by playing mainly guitar, bass guitar and programming drum i work like this for 20 years, i use for final recordings programmed drums as well as Real drumers..it depends on the song (budget) . I played in several bands/projects besides my solo-works.. from 1988 onwards until now as well as commercial stuff live/studio. Also spending years playing in bandformations (Elysion from 1990 till 1996) and with band ,Arabesque (1989-2004) several other groups comercial circuit
Met new musicians via the internet and this resulted in other projects and collaborations like (Shadrane, LaLu-project, Hubi Meisel..etc)!! ... ,
When recording my solo- albums i mainly play all of the instruments because i just loved to do like that,music to me is like painting and the instruments are the colours..Sometimes i love to invite guestmusicians/frriends for their personal voice on some of the tunes for soloes or other stuff
I also play with a trio (JoopWoltersTrio JWT) to bring some of my music out on the road ..I work also as a clinician for BO-EL guitars since 2007 and ENGL amps , for them since 2000).
