Sounds Like
Fun. Melody. Smooth like butter wine. Notes like a slinky down the stairs of your spine.
First, check out my mp3 of the week blog! Located at: http://jordansmp3oftheweek.blogspot.com
Trouble's Afoot is a band featuring Jordan Cooper (guitar, vocals), Dave Fox (bass) and Chris Roberts (drums.) They play fun pop rock songs for fun pop rock people. This myspace page will currently house live recordings and demos.
Jordan Cooper has been writing songs and playing shows since 2001 as a solo act and with other musicians. Trouble's Afoot consists of the best of his catalog of over 200 (!) songs, with a full band PUNCH. Jordan Cooper wants to hug you, but you may not let him.
Dave Fox's own band, Dead On A Friday (myspace.com/deadonafriday), is a fun melodic punk band. Likewise, his bass and sensibility for Trouble's Afoot provides a razor sharp, fast, bouncy, and dare I say poignant tone to Jordan's very un-bass-like voice. Dave's favorite note to play is A, followed by F, but don't tell him to play a C.
Chris Roberts was found on craigslist, and is the best drummer who ever lived. This is not a joke. With the superpower to learn 50 new songs in under 2 minutes, a Trouble's Afoot show would be a limp noodle without his drumming might.
