I started writing back in high school after reading Wuthering Heights. Something about that dark, mysterious setting and tortured Heathcliffe wouldn't leave me. And when I read a few of my mother's romance novels, I knew what I wanted to do. At 16, I wrote my first romance long-hand. When computers became popular I typed in this story, then wrote another. A short time later I found Romance Writers of America® and haven't looked back since.
I live in Maryland, only twenty minutes from the United States' capital of Washington, D.C., with my husband, teenager, school-aged twins, and fiesty cat. My free time (ha ha) is spent in the woods with my kids, pulling weeds from my garden, and blogging at my personal site.
I have a wee bit of an obsession with Scottish actor, Gerry Butler, who became my Muse after seeing him as the title character in The Phantom of the Opera.
