Jordan Okrend picked up the guitar at age 7, he was hooked ever since. Soon after, Jordan began writing and producing his own music. Jordan has been influenced by countless artists old and new, and many different genres of music. He has been inspired by his travels and the new sounds he takes along with him. Jordan has played many gigs in the Raleigh area in places such as The Sheraton Hotel, and North Seafood. Jordan is 17 and a senior in high school. He believes music can change the world and carries that message with him into the future.
writing and recording man... taking advantage of my free time. I've got a CD coming out Sept 22 that's more of a business move than a musical move... It's an acoustic cover version of Ben Harper's new CD, and i play piano, guitar, and hand percussion. I can hook you up with an early version if you'd like to check it out... Anyways, just getting the business side of things figured out, and getting ready to start playing shows again in the fall. I may try to come to your Thursday show, but i'm not sure yet.

it would be really awesome if you just broke into a really crazy full band high-speed rock out like two and a half minutes into "closer" though. i was waiting for it. it would be so cool. real abrupt.
