I’m from a very small town in Mississippi called Okolona… population 3800,
no red light. Recently, I moved to Nashville and I love it!
I blow out the candles on April 4th. This year, my birthday
falls on Easter! Bet I’ll be the only 18 year old out there hunting
Easter eggs! ;)
My life has always been centered on singing. The rest just fell into
place. My first performance was at a church Christmas play when I was 5
years old. Then came piano lessons, which led to learning guitar, which
brought me to begging my parents for a mandolin for my
graduation gift.
I took extra classes and graduated high school one year early. Sooo happy
I did that! :)
I love to write songs. The first song I ever wrote is called “Someone
Like You”.. I was in 4th grade… I must say, the songs have improved quite
a bit since then! But, it’s always funny to look back at that piece of
blue and pink dragonfly stationary with the sloppy, little girl
handwriting and think back to the day I wrote the song… the day my best
friend told me she didn’t want to be friends anymore.
I’m the girliest girl you’ll ever meet! I love fixing up and putting on
pretty dresses and high heels! I’m not the best at walking in them.. but
hey, I try. Make-up is my favorite part though… it’s like painting! So,
you can definitely say that walking down the red carpet would be a blast
for me and is in my biggest dreams. :D
I LOVE the feeling you get when you’re in a writing session and you get
chilly bumps thinking, “Wow.. this is going to be a great song.”… Love it.
Pink is my favorite color everrrr. I tried to talk my parents into
getting me a pink vehicle but of course, they thought black was a much
better fit. I think I’ll live :)
Over the past few years, I have been lucky enough to get to open concerts
for some great artists… Loretta Lynn, Crystal Gayle, Emerson Drive, Jake
Owen, Eric Church, Ronnie McDowell and Ashton Shephard. :)
I’m a big animal lover! My mama makes fun of me and my aunt when we get
into deep conversations about the humane society and people who mistreat
animals. “But they’re so cute.. and adorable… and lovable.. and sweet…and
fluffy… innocent…and… and… and… “ ;)
I don’t believe in the word “fan.” My “fans” are my best friends. I have
met so so many great people here on MySpace that will be my friends for
the rest of my life. To those of you that spread the word about my music,
support me, make myspace fan sites, twitter fan sites, and come see me at
my shows, thank you so much. You make me feel so special when you do all
this for me and I don’t even have to ask. You’re my best friends.

1. What’s your favorite color? Well that’s easy! PINK! I would definitely say pink has always been my favorite color and probably always will be. I even have a “princess pink” rocking chair!
2. Do you have any pets? Yes! For my sweet sixteen, my parents got me a teacup Yorkie. His name is Harley Gibson and he will be 2 years old in February. Even though Harley is a full breed, he has a small hernia. Thank goodness it will eventually go away. Also, I think all families should have pets. If I ever have success, I’ll be one of those people that give all of my money to the Humane Society! :)
3. When is your birthday? April 4th! It’s the best day ever… besides (maybe) Christmas! I’m so excited because this year I’ll be celebrating my 18th birthday on Easter… I bet I’ll be the only 18 year old hunting Easter eggs ;)
4. What do you miss about high school? Well, I’m very happy that I graduated a year early and wouldn’t take it back for the world, but I was very involved in Student Council and Cheerleading. I loved Student Council because of the community service we did. I have cheered since I was in 4th grade… I was the one that they threw up in the air! Otherwise known as the “flyer”… They always called me the “lip synching cheerleader” because I wouldn’t yell at the games. Haha! It wasn’t worth hurting my voice!
5. What is your favorite song? “Stronger” by Faith Hill. The first time I heard this song, I was 13 or 14 years old. I went home, learned the words, and I’ve been covering it at shows since then. Even though I write my own songs, this is the one cover song that I have to throw in at shows.
6. What is a normal week for you? Usually, I will spend the week in Nashville writing, recording, and doing fun stuff like that. I stay in a garage apartment next to my “Nashville Moma” who lives in the house beside me. I go home a lot of weekends whenever I’m not too busy. My parents only live about 3 & ½ hours from me so it’s not a bad drive at all. The only problem is when you leave home, get halfway there, and realize you left all of your clothes at the house. But that’s another story……
7. What all instruments do you play? Guitar, Mandolin, and Piano. I like playing guitar because it’s so easy to load up and take to shows. I mostly just write with piano because I think it gives songs a different sound than usual and things come from a different perspective. My parents got me a mandolin for graduation (actually got it early around Christmas) ... since I’ve been begging for one for like.. forever! Two weeks after I got it, I took it to a show to play live for the first time, and it got stepped on and broke in two. So needless to say, the mandolin has been through a lot, but I love it and can’t wait to start incorporating it into my shows again!

lol yea! someone told my youtube has guitar lessons and shows if you type in a song you wanna learn it shows you how to play! so i will definently check it out!! and thankyou so much! i hope i do great, my mom said if we had the money to go to nashville we could go now but she cant just pick up and go cause of her job and just a lot going on right now! i wanna move but she doesnt want me going to a strange place by myself and not knowing what to expect! so not sure if i will ever make it there lol. i guess it's a dream. if it comes true great if it doesn't then... i dont know lol! but hope it does!
yes i had a blast i always have a blast when i go see carrie and i heard they like to be silly at the games but hey you gotta love them tho and yup i heard about that to and i also heard you can get vip tickets to meet all of them thats what i want cuz i want to meet carrie whitney duncan julianne hough the carter twins and chuck wicks but i mainly want to meet carrie and awesome okay sounds good to me you should try in go to the fan club party next year :)

It's going really well with me. We had snow here in Norway on Friday last week, but is gone now, because we had rain in this weekend. We had Overcast today and it has been reported rain tomorrow:)

Haha ya I do the same thing with music just download a whole bunch new music which is pretty easy to get 4hrs worth because I'll listen to pretty much anything but metal that screaming just gives me a headache but oldies country rock I like all that just depends my mood but always can listen to country. LOL ya my friends make fun of me for useing someone elses Internet but it's either that or nothing and the people don't care I'm good friends with them. Love the new video and song I don't think if heard you just talk so your southern accent but I really like it :).
Well you play great music on that guitar, little and all.. Yeah Christmas is my favorite holiday as well.. They are really big into decorating here, especially in the city.. Well when you come with your Aunt, you can see! Looking forward to eating all that great Thanksgiving food as well!
