Jose Luis Burciaga

*__2008 COLORADO RAPIDS__* 2008 U.S. Soccer Foundation- MLS W.O.R.K.S Humanitarian of the Year
Former Wizards standout. Burciaga took a Clark pass on the left side of the K.C. penalty area and let loose a shot that beat Hartman inside the near post in the 57th minute. Traded to Colorado for a 2009 second-round SuperDraft pick in the offseason, Burciaga had made his return count for his new club.

Member of the U-23 U.S. National Team that took part in qualifying for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens...Spent much of 2001 with the United States Under-20 National Team. Appeared in 15 games with 6 starts for the U-20 team in 2001, tallying a goal and an assist…Appeared in 22 of 36 games for the U-20's in 2000, starting 17.
