    For immediate release Mai 2011 Leoffenders releases second single « Le temps qui passe » available now on 45 tours.ca With a softer "folk-pop" approach, Josée Allard seduces the listener upon singing the first notes of her stunning new single "Le temps qui passe" (Time passing). The lyrics, from long-time collaborator Danielle Hébert, are rich and deep, sharing the human experience in dealing with separation and heartbreak. The song really takes flight thanks to Montreal producer Mathieu Dandurand, who knows just how to make things sparkle, for example, by adding to the mix the amazing Francois Lafontaine (Karkwa) on keys. This summer Josee will be performing acoustically around the eastern region while working on her upcoming album to be released in 2012. Dès les premières notes, nous sommes séduits par cette mélodie accrocheuse et qu'on peut facilement qualifier de « ver d'oreille », car elle ne nous quittera plus après la première écoute... …Le temps qui passe, me tourne la tête Le temps qui passe, me tourne les pouces Le temps qui passe, me tourne le sang Le temps qui passe, me tourne le dos Ce matin je me suis levée trop tôt, il y a comme un froid entre mes draps… Cette fois-ci c'est avec une approche plus « folk » que Josée Allard nous présente Le Temps qui passe, pièce écrite et composée avec sa collaboratrice dans ce projet Danielle Hébert. Un texte bien ficelé dans lequel on peut très bien comprendre le désarroi vécu après une séparation lorsqu'un des deux souffre de la solitude. Une musique remplie de douceur qui nous donne envie d'en entendre un peu plus…encore ! Une réalisation de Mathieu Dandurand, sur laquelle on peut y entendre entre autres le pianiste François Lafontaine du groupe Karkwa, qui a su apporter à la pièce la petite touche magique nécessaire pour en faire une chanson inoubliable. Josée Allard, avec son projet Leoffenders, se prépare à présenter quelques spectacles cet été en formule acoustique et prendra le temps de terminer l'écriture de l'album qui devrait voir le jour au début 2012. BIOGRAPHY .. Singer-songwriter Josée Allard, pronounced "Jo-zay" "Al-lard", grew up in British Columbia where she started singing and composing songs at 10 yrs old. "Inexplicably enticing to my heart with sweet, but cool melodies…this music grew on me very fast" is how one fan describes her tunes. .. Largely influenced by Jewel and Sarah McLachlan, the ability to entertain a French or English audience is what sets apart this talented young redhead. Josée has opened for famous Quebecois artists Jean Leloup and Diane Dufresne, and has worked with professional francophone musicians such as Isabelle Longus, Mélonai Brisdon, Joëlle Rabu and Danielle Hébèrt. .. When she moved to Washington in 2003, Josée jumped into Pacific Idol, a spin-off of American Idol for the Pacific Northwest, and topped off 18 finalists with her own songs! This led to producing her first EP, titled "Josée", recorded in Bellingham at Bayside Studio (The Pale, Korby Lenker, Idiot Pilot) and independently released in December 2004. "Let be", the last song on the album, has already been featured in a film called "The Face of Aids in Whatcom County". Wilson Large, the filmmaker, says "I needed music that was heartfelt and when I found "Let Be" it was like Josée wrote it for the documentary. It was an added bonus that I saw her perform because I knew that she was very passionate about her music and lyrics". Josée was quickly invited to collaborate on "Sassy Cat", a compilation CD sold to raise money for the mother baby center in Whatcom County. Josée wrote two kid's songs titled "Sassy Cat" and "Are you ready for me?" specifically for the album. .. The attention that Josée was getting in the U.S. helped her gain higher ground in her native country. In November 2004 she was selected from 1000's of applicants to play at the "New Music West Music Conference and Festival" in Vancouver, B.C. Josée was also invited to perform in February 2005 for the Cultural Capital of Canada celebration in her hometown, Powell River, BC. This was a great achievement for her as she honed the unique task of entertaining her audience with a bilingual concert! .. Over 100 people turned out at The Central Bar & Grill in Victoria, B.C. for her CD release party. Josée appeared live on The New VI's morning show "New Day" and on CHTV's "GO". Two of her most popular tracks, "See the Sunshine" and "Let Be", have been receiving regular airplay on radio stations throughout B.C. such as CBC Radio (National), 97.3 Eagle FM (Vancouver Island), CFUV 109.1 FM (Victoria) and Jump Radio 90.1 FM (Powell River). .. Josée is currently working on a french album and hopes to be touring Canadian and U.S. cities next summer. For now, you can catch this energetic entertainer fronting her band on bass and vocals or delivering a chilling solo acoustic performance. Singer-songwriter Josée Allard has found her voice and place in the music scene after 3 albums and many projects. Having a natural gift for hooks and melodies, Josée Allard is highly influenced by folk artists, especially Jewel and Sara McLachlan.

While composing, Josée Allard has a heartwarming way of relating day to day life whether it’s with her guitar, bass or ukulele. On stage she attracts and captivates both francophone and anglophone audiences. This young artist has opened for some big name acts from the Québec music scene such as Jean Leloup and Diane Dufresne and she represented francophone Canada at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics.

Josée Allard left her native British Columbia to come closer to the active Québec music scene. This is where she met her new team of collaborators and guitarist, singer-songwriter Pascal Dufour, with whom magic and creation instantly took place. The pair will soon be releasing a brand new collection of songs in French and English.

Since Josée Allard was a little girl, she dreamed of becoming a singer. Born in the coastal town of Powell River, British Columbia, she imagined herself travelling the world, and singing her songs, just like all the famous singers she saw on TV. Josée Allard is a very dynamic performer, making an instant connection with her audience. Exuding positive energy and passion, her show leaves everyone craving for more.

        Steve Hill en SOLO quel spectacle samedi soir au Zaricot  accompagné de deux guitares et de son immense talent ainsi que son charisme naturel, il sait comment faire vibrer une salle. Aller voir le spectacle vous allez adorer.
