Josefine Lindstrand is a singer living in Stockholm, Sweden. 11th of February her new album ”There will be stars” will be released!!! She has been chosen the ”Jazz in Sweden” artist of the year 2009. You will be able to see her and her band touring in 2009.
Apart from her own project she has worked with the british composer and pianist Django Bates, and sings on 2 albums with him, she has also recorded 2 records with the american pianist Uri Caine. Josefine plays piano and sings with the swedish popsinger Maia Hirasawa, and she has received a Danish Music Award with the group Sekten, and sings at Efterklangs 2 latest records, Parades and Under Giant Trees,
