Bio
Josef’s first commercial project was with a local production team called 95 North. Together they released a remake of Ramsey Lewis and Earth Wind and Fire’s, “Sun Goddess.” It made it to Black Market Records and stayed #1 in the UK for one full week. That project was released on Large Records out of Chicago. Josef’s second commercial project was with “Brothers in the Struggle” which was licensed to Silk Entertainment. This chart topper is called “Holdin’ On”. Josef’s third commercial project has been licensed to YellOrange Records. It is called America At War. The name on the project is “Dj Pope feat Voices of Freedom”. Josef’s fourth commercial project has been released on Disturbance Records out of Italy. The project is called “The Golden Room Volume 1”. Josef wrote the first single on the album entitled “My Heart”. Josef’s fifth commercial project has also been released on Disturbance Records. This project is called “My Heart”. Josef penned three of the songs in this CD. One of which is the title track of the album. The artist is “Appetizer featuring Josef Saddler”. Josef's sixth commerical project is on "Yoruba Records". He teamed up with "Santos" and together they produced a single called "Love made for two". It was released on an EP entitled "An Introduction" on Osunlade's Yoruba imprint. Josef’s career has taken a step toward new horizons in today’s Internet expansion. Within three months Josef has had 7 tracks that have achieved Top 40 status on MP3.Com. He can also be found in Europe right here on BeSonic.Com on which he as achieved #1 status on more than twenty tracks. Fifteen are mixes of Josef’s original tracks from producers met online in Europe. One of the remixes called "Keep on Walkin' mixed by DJ Stevan G" from Germany has also been featured on Europe.Real.Com. Josef’s energy and performance style is an attribute and delight to any venue that he performs in. He has been welcomed with open arms around the world. REVIEW Josef Saddler is obviously a very talented artist and singer. His funky vocals are something you'd expect to hear on a hit funk cd. The electronic stylings of Karl H play in the background... the melodies are subtle and great, the beats are intelligent and catchy, and they couldn't have blended with the song better. "Move On" starts out with a catchy yet almost cliche drum beat and bass track. Next, the intelligent melodies are introduced which let you know that this will be no cliche song. An interesting horn melody also joins it, which is subtle and blends in well. Next are the vocals from Josef... his voice feels good to the ears, every note is perfectly on key, in short he has a very professional and talented vocal quality. An interesting jazz piano section comes in, adding variation. All throughout a nice bass track plays in the background that make the song sound more and more professional and likeable. "Move On" is about just that... moving on. Moving on with your life after a relationship gone wrong. Some of the lyrics could have been better, like at a few points where words are rhymed with themselves. That is basically the only problem I have with this track. Josef Saddler and Karl H are both very talented artists and together, their work is combined to make something fresh, entertaining, and interesting. No parts of it ever get repetitive, it ends at just the right moment, the vocal quality is fantastic, and the melodies are great; everything's perfectly on-key. The only advice I would give to the artist is try to work on your lyrics. But, as I listen to it more and more, some bad parts come to my attention... the lyrics are a bit bland, they're not really saying much and are a bit uninspired. Also, the chorus doesn't sound that great. Other than that, this song is really good and I'd recommend a download. -
