Guitarist of Ozma, Jose Galvez, recorded his first solo album at Loveless Motel Studios in Sierra Madre at the beginning 2008 with the producer/engineer Billy Burke. Jose Galvez recorded the majority of the music himself, while making his lead singing debut. His music appeared on TV shows such as “Bad Girls Club” and "MTV's Real World”. Jose is currently writing new material and will be recording a new batch of songs at the end of 2009.

--Born June 25, 1979 in Quezon City, Philippines
--Raised in Singapore until 1988
--Relocated to Pasadena, California.
--Started playing guitar at 15 when he heard "smells like teen spirit"
--Helped form Ozma in 1995 where he played guitar and arranged songs.
--After extensive touring/recording with ozma from 1999-2007, he decided to release a collection of his own songs accumulated throughout the years.
--A solo record was recorded at Loveless Motel Studios in Sierra Madre end of 07'-beginning 08', where he worked with with producer/engineer extraordinaire Billy Burke, who used to be his guitar teacher.
--Jose recorded the majority of the music himself which included instruments that are not quite second nature to him such as DRUMS, BASS, and KEYS. Though he sought help in his musician friends to help round out the sound, as well as to bring new life to the studio atmosphere.
--The self-titled debut album was mastered by Sean O'Donnel of Reeve Oliver and is now available through special mail order (only 200 printed) as well as Itunes and other online music markets.
