W.a.n.d.a. P. is an acronym for We Are No Different As People. The main characters Hemo, the red blood cell, Blanco, the white blood cell, Eyish, the nerve cell, Skinner, the skin cell and Blubb, the virus are all cells in the body of Wanda P. Jones. The cells have found themselves in troubling times in the body of Wanda P, similar to those on earth that we are experiencing at the moment. The characters are representative of different races and nations of humans here on earth. Because of personel agendas and devious conspiricies being carried out by a few cells at the expense of many of the cells in the body of Wanda P, they have all found themselves involved in a great conflict that threatens every cell in the bodys existance. Wanda P is a (social satire) that is sure to make the reader laugh at the funny characters and to those who read deeper into the serious religious, racial and political undertones, it will evoke some thought about the state of humanity and how each of us has a role big or small, and none is more important than the other for the survival of all...www. llumina. com/store/wandap. htm

Many thanks, BG, and right back at you!
BTW, have you seen my discussion board? It's a fun forum with people from all over the world talking about the Rain Fall movie (starring Gary Oldman and opening in Japan on April 25); the next book, called Fault Line, out in the US on March 10; and writing, politics, single malt whisky, and anything else that strikes people's fancy, with a monthly chat on writing, too. So if you have a chance, stop by and say hello -- it would be good to see you there...

Because it stops censorship and its good for you - the following is taken from page 102 of "Please God Save Us"
So why would a government, in a free country, attack modern day culture such as music, film or art? Because the political benefits outweigh the political risks. And why is that? Because young people do not vote.
How does the government know this? Because your birthday is a part of your voter registration record. They know how many 18-30 year olds are registered to vote and they know how many actually punch a ballot on Election Day.
OK let me explain.
Voters are identified by age and address. If every person who is smart and beautiful and 25 went to the polls, then government policy would be more attentive to the needs of the beautiful and smart 25 year-olds.
So if you are a young mom and need better child care options in your town - vote. If you have to work to pay for college - vote. If you want economic policies that support living wage jobs - vote. If you want your government to develop programs that can build towards a better future for this country - VOTE. And yes – if you want to stop censorship - vote.
There is power not just in your one vote, but in segments of the population expressing their collective interest in all future public policies. If you want more government to pay attention to you then you need to be heard.
"One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors. - Plato, Ancient Greek philosopher - 428BC – 348BC
