Joseph Birdsong is a musician currently living in Philadelphia. He grew up right at the end of a musical family, singing in shows as a kid. Though he played clarinet and piano growing up, electronic music has always been where he's felt most at home. As a child he enjoyed writing poetry and rhymes on scrap paper. When he got older he began experimenting with synths and loops, trying to find something to match his voice. His was inspired by overseas artists such as Robyn and The Knife, also drawing from the electro-power of Kylie Minogue and the lyrics of A Fine Frenzy.

Modern Science Available online January 5, 2010! - An electro-journey through space, Modern Science includes the single "Modern Science," two other electro-pop tracks, and a piano reprise.
I enjoyed your new songs too. My fav song though is your paper crane song. Did you make it up yourself? Its awesome because it expresses a sense of innocense in thinking that paper cranes would make someone stay and child like. Like innocent love, like that of a child and yet no matter how pure and innocent our love is for someone, they leave anyway!!! =O( grr....
Second shadow sounds really cool. It's very different, but I like it a lot. My favorite is still "A Wish", though. I can't wait to hear the whole song! :)
