The music on this page is my own. It was performed on acoustic guitar. Other musical things I do include::: I have a band called BODY OMARA with Tom Reichert on bass and Davu Seru on percussion. We play a blend of music from Mali, American jazz/blues/gospel etc, and hints of folk musics of the world. I am an active member of the Minneapolis Free Music Society (see friends below for links). thanks joseph! two of us played in the alb, btw. i sort of envisioned debo band as an extension of the free-jazz elements of alb meets the brassy and funky elements of ethiopian music from the 60s/70s -- sort of like some of your listed influences all mashed-up! glad you dig the sounds. peace, danny debo!
