About me:

MySpace Layouts

I wrote the bestsellers POWER PLAY, KILLER INSTINCT, COMPANY MAN, and PARANOIA, as well as four earlier novels (THE MOSCOW CLUB, EXTRAORDINARY POWERS, THE ZERO HOUR, and HIGH CRIMES). My next book, VANISHED, will be published by St. Martin's on August 18, 2009. KILLER INSTINCT won the 2007 Thriller Award for Best Novel. COMPANY MAN won Gumshoe and Barry Awards for best thriller, and my novel HIGH CRIMES became a hit movie starrring Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman. PARANOIA is now in development as a major motion picture from Gaumont, with Barry Levy writing the screenplay adaptation and Alexandra Milchan producing. I'm a founding member of the International Thriller Writers Association, and active in PEN/New England and the Association of Former Intelligence Officers. Chicks Dig Scars - Chapter One

Chicks dig scars, everyone knows that, right? Meet Severence DeSnappio, a man who creates ‘fake’ injuries for desperate clients. He’ll get you a stab wound, shot gun blast, snowboarding injury - but a bite from a great white shark?

S
et in Miami, Chicks Dig scars is a lyrical, Lynchian mix of dream logic and hard boiled detection.

Confronted by a growing crackdown, millions of men and women are protesting across Iran, sparked by outrage at the mounting evidence that the Ahmadinejad government may have rigged and stolen Thursday's election.

This is a crucial moment for Iran and the world. Can humanity match up this situation? If the power holders act and react only according to their own small interests and the common people does not care, then many people must go through a time of much suffering. Let's change together, let's change the way we live and respect each other instead of mind only our own business and building any cloud castles. We need each other, so let's care for one another and respect life...it could be so easy. But, unfotunately the liers make life very complicated, if men would be true and honest, things like that what happens in Iran right now would never happen...think about it!

God Bless You

Picked up Power Play thursday afternoon, started reading it at about 8pm. Just finished it about 10 minutes ago (12:15 am Friday) because I couldn't put it down even to watch the Sox and Yankees. Great stuff!

There are at this moment, 6,470,818,671 people in the world
Some are running scared
Some are coming home
Some tell lies to make it through the day
Others are just not facing the truth Some are evil men at war with good
And some are good struggling with evil
6 billion people in the world
6 billion souls
And sometimes, all you need is one..

Life is not merely a series of meaningless accidents, or coincidences. No, but rather it's a tapestry of events that culminate in an exquisite sublime plan
Life is like a piano...
The white keys represent happiness and black keys represent sadness;
but as you go through life's journey
remember that the black keys make music too.....

What happened in America in the days of old It seems that it let us still dry and cold
The Red Indians were friendly and did shake hand With white men who cheeky took away their land
Peace was taken away, but what has been brought? By envy, greed and lust of evil humans got caught!
Thanks to the urge of rivalry and competition Human beings has lost their way in creation
Their brains full of nonsense and they even think it’s cool Believe me; such a life only can be lived by some fool
