I wrote the bestsellers POWER PLAY, KILLER INSTINCT, COMPANY MAN, and PARANOIA, as well as four earlier novels (THE MOSCOW CLUB, EXTRAORDINARY POWERS, THE ZERO HOUR, and HIGH CRIMES). My next book, VANISHED, will be published by St. Martin's on August 18, 2009.
KILLER INSTINCT won the 2007 Thriller Award for Best Novel. COMPANY MAN won Gumshoe and Barry Awards for best thriller, and my novel HIGH CRIMES became a hit movie starrring Ashley Judd and Morgan Freeman. PARANOIA is now in development as a major motion picture from Gaumont, with Barry Levy writing the screenplay adaptation and Alexandra Milchan producing.
I'm a founding member of the International Thriller Writers Association, and active in PEN/New England and the Association of Former Intelligence Officers.

We need more fraternity. We should promote and encourage one another. We should help each other. Instead of all that we slander our brothers and sisters to keep our position. Especially we need more consideration towards others. How can we allow circumstances like for instance in La Oroya, Peru (just seek some pictures in google) that the heavy metal industry harms the health of all people living around there - 60% of the population in that area suffer cancer! Plus for that the employees are bad paid the industry very gainful. I mean we are living in the 21st Century and because of acquisitive business poor people get exploited! I reveal to you, SUCH A RUTHLESS IGNORANCE IS DEADLY! This was just one of many examples why our Babylon System fails! Those who have the understanding for to stand up for are with me: While the elites and politics are loosing their authenticity there is more room to provoke agitation. So, there will be some change! And we have to be aware of what we have to change. I promise you wihtout changing ourselves we gonna keep remaining in this doom loop and finally nothing will be changed! If you wanna change your fates game you have to change yourself! Respect each other as yourself. Instead of running after money or being proudly provoking conflicts we d' rather get humble and respectful for we can live in peace.
