Dear Friends,
Flava News has been supportive of the arts in Seattle and across the United States for several years now. During the fall of 2008, Flava News has teamed up with DEHITMEN who are Entertainers and Youth Motivational Speakers with the focus on social conscious hip hop music and messages…influencing our youth in a positive direction while keeping it fun and entertaining for them. We continue to explore ways in which we can get involved in a variety of communities across the United States, working towards affecting the masses across the world with the focus on bringing about positive change through music, spoken word and other forms art and events.
Presently, the latest project involves a new dynamic group ”DEHITMEN.”
Driven Entertainers Healing Ignorance Through Music Eliminating Negativity.
DEHITMEN are more than a music group but are healers of the community that goes out and presents positive music to the youth as well as youth guidance programs and workshops.
The goal of DEHITMEN ENT AND Flava News is to:
1. Create a social network that continuously works towards the building of a better community.
2. Present positive entertainment for youth programs and youth authority centers locally and nationally.
3. Work with a variety of churches as apart of the counseling for many strayed youths throughout our country. Creating our own Ministry called “Joseph’s Vision” which will embark on the ability to allow our youth to follow their dreams guiding them into interpreting the fact that nothing is impossible because, if they see it they can achieve it.
4. Collaborate with local leaders on uplifting positive projects for the youth in our communities.
5. Seeking immediate sponsorship and support from interested parties to effectively implement our plan of action now.
DEHITMEN ENT is presently working on their debut CD, “Target Practice,” which is a socially conscious Hip Hop CD that targets several of the concerns we face daily, such as gang violence, drugs, racism, abuse that so many of your youth are impacted by. A percentage of the proceeds will be directed to the DEHITMEN ENT Youth Outreach Program, “Joseph’s Vision.”
We pray that you too believe in the need for this project and consider it imperative to get involved by supporting our cause financially or in action, due to the immediate crisis having such a negative impact in many communities nationally and internationally.

See Blog, William Wilberforce looked at the house of the Prime Minister and asked, "How can we live in such good houses while there are people living in boxes?" My name is not Wilberforce but I will ask this, "How can you or your child who have 4 feet between the two of you have up to 15 pairs of shoes or more while some of God's children somewhere has only one worn down pair or none to attend church or school? How can we have a building in which to worship even if it needs some paint and YET there are people in America and other parts of the world who go to worship under trees? How can we live in such big and comfortable houses and still go to seek more "for self" while some of God children live in little shacks where one room in your house is their entire home? How can we eat 5 and 6 times per day when some of God's children have just one or no food all week? How can we have 3 and four cars in one household when some of God's children have to walk for miles to get to church? How can we have so many outfits, sometimes we have no space to store them, yet some of God's children have not even one special outfit for church? How can we be collecting moo money to build bigger, luxurious buildings, changing seats that are still useabled while God's Temples need to be clothed and not painted, need shoes and not carpet, need to be filled with food and not chairs, need to be fed with food in order for their minds to focus on Him so that He can truly shine out of them? I have a Buuurden....
