Most of Josette Davids original songs have been described as introspective, upbeat, and ethereal. However she is an extremely versatile musician who can perform a hard powerful rock song with ease and enthusiasm to surprise her audience. Inspired by artists such as October Project, Sarah McLachlan, Indigo Girls, Tori Amos, Jane Siberry and Melissa Etheridge, Josette has a style all her own. Most of her music is about her own personal experiences, yet her audiences can easily relate to the words and sing along with the upbeat melodies.
Josette Davids is currently working on recording a solo album with producer Harold Stephan. www.haroldstephan.com
This Journey is just a sample of what is to come. The goal of the album is more than just to create a few great songs. It is also to help people with healing in a music therapeutic approach. All songs are positive and tell stories about overcoming difficult circumstances in one's life.
Josette is also working with Lonesome Dan and Curmudgeons performing live blues, rock, and americana music on Long Island.
