Composer, guitarist, arranger and producer. He completed his musical studies in Ecuador, Germany and Spain. He writes music for orchestra, theater, chamber music ensembles and music for multimedia projects. He has developed a concert activity as a soloist and as a member of various groups. He has taught in Ecuador, Germany and Turkey. He is the author of several publications (Neue Musik Editions, Mesa Music Publishing). In 2001 he won the 1st Prize in the instrumental music category at the Song Expo Competition (Netherlands). Because of his excelent grades, José has been recipient of the „Celebrity Online Scholarship Program“ and has finished his Certificate Program „Master in Arranging and Orchestration“ at Berkleemusic Online School in Januar 2010.

Realizó estudios musicales en el Ecuador, Alemania y España. Ha escrito obras para orquesta, teatro, música de cámara y música para proyectos multimedia. Actividad concertística como solista e integrante de diversos ensambles. Docencia en el Ecuador, Alemania y Turquía. Varias publicaciones (en las editoriales Verlag Neue Musik y Mesa Music Publishing). Ganador en la categoría de música instrumental en el concurso Song Expo Wettbewerb 2001 (Holanda). Debido a sus altas calificaciones fue galardonado con una beca del programa „Celebrity Online Scholarship Program“ y obtuvo en enero 2010 el título de „Master in Arranging and Orchestration“ del Berklee College of Music en su edición online.

Im Januar 2010 erhielt er seinen zertifizierten Abschluß als „Master in Arranging and Orchestration“ vom Berklee College of Music.

Hi, José! Thank you so much for your interest and friendship. I really appreciate the compliments, especially coming from a virtuoso such as yourself. :) Yes, all the songs you heard on my page are originals, and they're from my critically acclaimed CD, LIVE SUMMER SESSION, which I recorded in my living room last summer, live in one take. It's 45 minutes of just me and the piano - improvising, composing songs impromptu, and succumbing completely to the inspiration as it consumed me.
