Josh&Mike is composed of Josh (vocals and guitar) and Mike (piano, guitar, vocals).
-The Story Behind the Band-
*sigh* When it comes to impressing that certain girl, music seems to fit in almost perfectly. So after seeing a live performance of Train playing "Drops of Jupiter" live, Josh was inspired to learn the song and then sweep a certain girl off her feet with it. He asked his good friend Mike to join him in this endeavor by playing the piano part. Long story short... they spent a good deal practicing and could play a great sounding cover of it, but alas the girl was long gone. However they were bitten by the bug and it was only a matter of time until they would begin writing music on their own.
-The Band-
The band was unofficially formed in 2001 with that Train song (see above). It took a few years to take the music thing a bit more seriously. In 2004 they released their demo CD, "Live... In A Studio" (under the band name then "Before the Storm").
In May of 2005 they decided to continue on in their musical endeavor. The band name was changed to Josh&Mike (Before the Storm was too abstract).
-The Now -
We are in the midst of writing new songs and re-doing some classic/old ones. ("Classic" if you're a fan, "old" if you're not). When we're not working, or in school, we're either writing songs or playing in a local coffeeshop near you. (And if we're not, invite us!)
