Hailing from humble roots in rural southeastern Wisconsin, artist Josh Beale is causing a stir in the music community that can only be described as anything but that. Versed and immersed in music from a young age, Beale has grown into a mix of rocker, sage and musical visionary. His style is presented in a spicy, unapologetic manner that makes your head spin and your heart swoon.
Along with adding his own unique edge, Beale draws out of a wide pool of influences from bands such as U2, Coldplay and The Killers, as well as embracing elements from Jack White and Joseph Arthur. Beale strives to write songs whose topics range from love and relationship issues to those of spirituality and social consciousness. They are filled with infectious musical hooks and soul-wrenching lyrics that demand contemplation. This allows him the versatility to both meet the audience where they are and to take them beyond themselves towards hope and healing. Beale’s live show only serves to further emphasize his talent and charisma, exuding energy and flair that refuses to be ignored.
In the fall of 2006, Beale attended the Contemporary Music Center located on Martha’s Vineyard, an invitation-only artists’ colony for up-and-coming musicians and entertainment industry executives. During his tenure at the CMC, Beale was equipped with the tools and know-how to become elite in the music business. He recorded a single while on the island that will be released on a compilation CD by New England indie label, 450 Records.

I'm still going to UW-Platteville..sophmore this year! It's been a lot of fun considering I'm living off campus, but so much more work than last year! Other than school and hanging out I've just been working and whatnot.
