On January 18th, 2007 Josh Buck was in a swimming accident while on vacation in Mexico. The accident was considered a near drowning. In the process, Josh fractured his neck, damaged his spinal cord and had to undergo emergency surgery. In the following months, while struggling with his own pain, he began to see the lack of willingness for other people to validate and acknowledge their own pain.
That is what Sackcloth is about; freeing people to embrace their pain.
