oh yes and recording, i use logic pro..you can rewire reason to it but you can't record audio into reason cause its a sequencer and not a DAW and sequencer like logic..so for sure logic..pro tools 8 is pretty cool though..i'm making the upgrade probably pretty soon..its supposed to be way more like logic..but i am a big logic guy..i love logic..
hey dude! well i personally would go with reason..i think for performance it would be much stronger and have alot more you can do..are you asking in terms of just useing it for sounds? or for playing a track and useing live automation? cause i would definitely go with logic..reason for me is more of just making beats although i use logic for that as well i just use it to mix up my sounds.. and redrum is pretty cool for loading your own samples into..
