About me:
Hello, I'm Josh Fulks. I'm 27 years old. I have two kids, Raven Alyssa and Lennox Dean. My best friend and wife, Amber, and I have been together for 5 years. I am an electrician and I've had my license for about almost two years. I work for NEC out of Moore. I know I dont have the vast knowledge that a lot people on this planet may possess, but I would like to think that I've learned from the people who were trying to teach me, and from the one's who didn't know they were. There's not a day that goes by that I dont think about my parents and thank them for being hard on me when they needed to, listening when I needed to talk, and being there when I needed support. When we were kids, my brother was my most hated enemy, and somtimes my best friend. I'm glad he was both, because now I know he's a better friend than enemy. One of the best conversations I've ever had, I spent over two hours on the phone with my grandpa and learned not only what it was like to be a POW in WWII, but that he loves to tell stories, and he's damn good at it. Since that conversation, I have learned to cherish talks like that, because when alzheimers sets in, there wont be too many more. I have learned that most people are good hearted, it just takes them a few years to figure that out. Patients will definetly get rewarded, and kids are the ultimate test of patients. You have to be open and honest with your spouse, or it will never work. Two checking accounts is a bad idea. The older I get, the more I realize that I am very capable of rebuilding my shower, but I would rather someone else change the oil in my truck. Self-propelled lawn mowers are the greatest thing since sliced bread. I know it's cliche', but live every day like it's your last. Family comes before work and kids need chores, it builds character. Tell your wife that you love her everyday, and she'll have a better day for it. People rely on people, so dont be shitty and people wont be shitty to you. Life's not about the car you drive or the house you live in, it's about the things you do and how you treat people that you will be remembered by. If a you bail someone out of jail, dont expect to get your money back, do it because they needed your help, and ask yourself why you're not sitting there next to them in the first place. Time spent with family and friends is time well spent because the friends you keep says a lot about the person you are. I havent been married long, so I know I'm not Dr. Phil or anything, but listen to her, cause sometimes that's all she wants. She doesnt always want you to fix it or tell her what she should do, she just needs you to listen to her. Dont leave the tv on and "listen" to her, but show genuine interest in her and I promise you'll be glad you did. And women, dont wait until you're both in bed and he's exhausted to tell him about your day, because he's going to fall asleep and you're going to get pissed. Dont ever miss time you could spend with your kids to go out with your buddies because you're kids are direct reflections of you and how you live your life. I would do anything for my wife and my kids, so dont ever think about testing me. I think I've learned a lot in 26 years and I thank the people who have tried to teach me, I'm sorry if it was hard.
