Okay, it also REALLY annoys me when people say something in 50 words they could have said in 5. Wait, sorry, let's try that again. Too many words with no meaning is bad.
BAD: Business dude: In making a rebuilding of his professional pursuits, he is changing his direction based on what others do in reaction with him. My thought is that if he understood what you are thinking in planning ahead, whether it works out or not, to have a chance to see how you make advanced plans can be a great benchmark for him. Are you able to give him a call in April of whenever that manager need arises?
GOOD: Me: Definitely.
Come on. Benchmark? "Advanced plans"? WHAT DOES THE FIRST SENTENCE FRIGGIN MEAN??
