Josh Komorowski - vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, unrecognizable noises.
if you were wondering how josh got his unique guitar tone.... he plugs his guitar w/ and instrument cable into his fender deluxe (volume and reverb on 2 and the rest the knobs set at 12 oclock'ish). sometimes he has to turn the bass down or tone whitfield yells at him.
for his acoustic guitar he plays a "Goodall" that has more cracks in it than the hoover dam, with a fishman natural 1 pickup in the bridge. EQ'd flat with no other crap added.
oh just love all kinds of music.
the blues, jazz, the funk, latin, rock n' roll, country, folk, polka, disco, and i got a real cankerin' for my hometown of philly and the wonderful musicians that come from this town....i'm a country boy myself, never much on big cities and bright lights..... and the beat goes on...
Sounds Like
blues, jazz, folk, rock, funk, gospel, and easy listening (for all the old farts out there).
mix em' all together and you sort of get nice blend.
Lyrically potent and shamelessly heartfelt, Joshua Komorowski?s tender yet edged
songwriting and performance have secured his position as an artist one truly believes every word and note. A native of Philadelphia, PA, Josh has been spreading his poetic and soulful vision across the country. Whether solo, full band or 12 piece ensemble, Josh's bluesy, funk and soul music leaves listeners breathless.
Komorowski's long awaited first independent recording, "There is Always Hope," was released in March 2005. He is currently working on new recording, but lets be honest, he's been saying that for years. he just doesn't have have any money, so you'll get it when it comes out.
