Joshua’s past starts in 2002, Nashville, TN with a band he was conspiring with named The Gents. He was writing songs and aiding in the co-production of there demo Teenage Beverly Hills 666 which eventually evaporated. They disbanded in 04’ and the remaining members became the eclectic, Nashville indie band The Beta Macks. Joshua was long gone from Nashville at that point and headed back to his hometown of Erie, PA to hone his writing skills and begin to put together a larger catalog. In the process he won a songwriting contest for The Suite Recording Studios in Camden, London. The Director of the suite introduced him to London-based singer/songwriter Richard Evans and immediately Rich and Joshua began Co-writing commercially and non-commercially. They even wrote a little bit for The Suite but nothing came of it due to issues of slight distrust in the middle man. Richard Recorded his debut solo album in 2007 called, Blue Country Eyes. He cut a favorite co-write of there’s “Three Lilies”. In the mean time Joshua headed to Cincinnati, Oh were he hit the local scene. You can find him playing between Nashville, TN and Cincinnati most weeks solo or with his band The Reckless West. He is currently recording his debut solo album, “Songs from The Road To Farewell” and it is expected for release in May. There is also word of Joshua going into the studio with Rich Evans at the end of the year for a collaboration effort on the London-based Studiophonics label. I guess we will wait and see. You can contact him for bookings through his email, Joshscutella@yahoo.com.

Well, let's see, we did two ten hour recording sessions, one six hour overdub session, and three eight hour mixing sessions, so it wasn't THAT quick. But we did a lot of pre-production work on arrangements and parts, so it went pretty smoothly. I'm really excited at how it's turning out.
