i have a hard time making my fingers hit these keys in a timely fashion but i just wanted to give a little update on my past year and my plans for ought 9. first and foremost; im really excited to be heading back out on the road with tim barry and austin lucas this spring. 08 began with the passing of a friend, and some cliched but much needed introspection. i decieded to take a break from accompanying tim and performing my solo matireal, focusing most of my attention on learning to play with the band brainworms. getting up to speed in a "punk" or loud band has been quite the challenge, and is still an ongoing process, but im very proud of the record i helped to record with the group. "brainworms 2: swear to me" is finally all wrapped up and packaged for release.
the prospect of performing music every night for the next couple of months, has never seemed so appealing. after the extensive spring dates with tim and austin; i will be catching back up with the boys of the brainworms to play a couple weeks of european dates ending up in berlin. i plan on wondering around mumbling scheisse until i link back up with austin and mike hale for another month of dates in europe including the uk. in this span of time i also hope to record another album's worth of music and new songs that will hopefully do a better job chronicling this past year of my life than my feeble myspace blog attempt. was this a blog? anyway send love, money, prayers, and jokes im gonna need um all. peace and love
hope your tour is going well and you and the guys still have a lot of fun. When you are back home and find some time it would be cool to stay in contact.
Completed for over a week now I have finally thrown in the towel; I loathe formatting, the Austin Lucas interview is online, I have been defeated. Enjoy.
