Emerging from the back yards of Tacoma, Wa., JoshuaAdamsBand busted down the doors of the Acoustic-Pop-Rock scene in early 2008. Joshua Adams has been a soloist in the Pacific Northwest since 1999 but finally in 2008 formed the JoshuaAdamsBand. Adams takes a singer/songwriter style of acoustic pop and gives it a jam band feel. His influences range from Crosby, Stills and Nash to Nine Inch Nails, from Jim Croce to Panic At The Disco, with heavy influences from Dave Matthews Band and Ani Difranco. JoshuaAdamsBand’s easily digested vocals, energetic rhythms and tight jams generate a sound overflowing with beefy, sugar-coated ditties. With standout tracks like "Faster," “By Morning” and “Individual Dual,” the music appeals to Acoustic, Pop and Rock fans alike.
The current lineup features Adams as songwriter, guitar player and lead singer, Todd Mcgrady on drums, Steve Gillson on bass, and Mitch Sloan on saxophone. Most recently Jon Preece joined the group on Piano/Organ/Synth.
