****************************************************************************************** I am your typical eclectic, largely acoustic, fingerstyle, alt-tuning singer/songwriter, and I also play sax on the side when I am really broke or frustrated or when arthritis keeps me from excelling at guitar.

I am vegan and into a simple organic approach to life. My personal philosophy is fairly organic so it may seem like a contradiction for me to be trying to get some form of corporate support, but I have come to the realization that I will die unknown, penniless and possibly in jail if I don't. I like Thoreau as much as the next person, but there must be some form of balance in life and going back to the woods or to jail as a form of social protest isn't exactly good for a career in music. I have come to terms with the idea that it may be necessary to grease the wheels of a corrupt industry to survive as an artist and I can live with that. There is, after all, some form of direct compromise just by living in the world and society anyway.
Or maybe I'll find a vegan, organic commune somewhere that I can call home and forget about a "career"; there are more important things after all...like finding balance and peace within oneself in spite of the current speed of the world.
