Gram Parsons and Emmylou Harris, Guy Clark, Townes Van Zandt, Pinto Bennett, Buddy and Julie Miller, Steve Earle, Kasey Chambers and many more past and present honkytonk roots country hillbilly pilgrims.
Joshua Tree humbly began twenty five years ago when Deborah and Johnny met and found that they had a mutual love for the music and duet singing of Emmylou Harris and the late Gram Parsons. With no big plan other than enjoying singing together and spreading the gospel of their blend of country/folk/rock/bluegrass music in their hometown of Boise, Idaho, the duo has grown into a full band as they collected musical friends along the way.
Deborah sings and plays acoustic guitar. Johnny sings and plays electric guitar and mandolin. Boyd sings and plays bass. Jake sings and plays pedal steel guitar and dobro. Mike plays drums.
Featuring vocal harmonies with classic honky tonk instruments, Joshua Tree is keeping the spirit of the good times alive and sharing the music they love with old and new friends.
