A singer songwriter whose soulful vocals and earthy lyrics are peppered with country conviction, stirred with a little rock, salted with a bit of blues - then washed in a Christian perspective.
Her early songs have been produced by Owen Bradley (Billboard Recommended Country Single - Here Comes The Night) and Charlie Fields (Cashbox 84 - Raised On Radio). Josie has worked with many exceptional musicians and artists in the studio singing demo lead vocals and/or harmonies. And was a fan favorite in several local bands.
In the mid 90's she switched gears to become aka "Joy Moore" a highly rated country music disc jockey and morning show host for a 100,000 watt FM.
Coming full circle from where she started - singing in church as a kid, Josie most recently sang in a Praise Band before getting back into songwriting.
"I love the Lord and I love to worship Him. But I am not ashamed that he has gifted me with the gift of being an entertainer and performer. If I can connect with another heart to say 'hey, you're not alone' through my music - secular or Christian - then that's a blessing."
