Who I'd like to meet: Fiji born artist painter Josie Crick origins are found in Naitasiri Fiji Highlands. Self taught artist she has been painting since year 1995. Her Art is a colourful blend of sunshines, flowers and smiles reflecting her inner beauty. Celebrating life through her Art, she was made "Chevalier des Arts et Lettres" by the French government, 2003. A knighthood that is bestowed through her contribution to Art.
Her first solo exhibition at Alliance Francaise de Suva, 1997, kickstarted her artistic carreer around Fiji islands and the Pacific Ocean. Her paintings portray an heritage of blooming creativity : daisies and stars, spinning fantaisies, cosmic dance in your eyes as you travel through her world of Art...
