Currently loving MUSE, OURS, and Radiohead's new "In Rainbows"...really like the creativity in this new album - it's laid back but not in it's artistic value or deep expression. Amazing "heart" behind what he sings about - not that "heart" is always kosher...lol! One song morph's into a different phase of itself completely...like mood swings...or a dream...really amazing use of instruments and voice to draw on an emotion. I'm sorry...but, I don't know what the hype is about Wilco??? Hugh!

I like a few songs from some of the new Christian bands - but alot of them
sound like eachother...I appreciate when bands experiment with new sounds and new
ideas:) Creativity is freeing! I'm really tired of Screm0 - I like Maylene and the son's of disaster because they have a really cool Southern Rock sound and "Dry the River" has
some melodious singing in it. I just can't get used to screaming all the time! Throw it in
here and there to drive home a point etc. - but every song? Why!? Time for something
new please! i like Decypher Down

okay, lets see...Matisyahu's music is soooo healing! His words are all about relationship with God! I love God's vision for Israel (Romans 11) I love that he's just serving God for real...and he's out there as he is with incredible talent. A definite sign of the times!Chesedic Jews broke away from Orthodox Judaism because of their rigidness, and they are all about relationship with God in prayer...thus Chesedic - from the word "Chesed" which means lovingkindess and mercy! His desire is to spread light!-Check out... King Without a Crown - On the other hand "mewithoutYou"! A crazy enough band to get your attention! Then if you turn off the video (after enjoying it from that perspective) and listen to the music...it's really good. But the greatest treasure is when you listen to an interview with Aaron Weiss and hear the way that he follows Jesus! Wow! We need more christians who are who they are in Christ ... and don't compromise! Amen?! He has a goal to write an album for every state:) And he adds some christianity to the New Weird America Movement. i love this definition of the New Weird America Movement: A collective for sensitive souls,gentle warriors,long-haired children,psychedelic free-folk,freaks,post hippies, surreal compassionists and noise manipulators...ha,ha................................................................................................

Josi sweetie I have been talking to Maggie again and she is awesome! She went to visit my sister, her husband and 2 babies last weekend in Orlando! I am so happy that we are all reunited again! I hope to talk to you soon too!!! I can't believe I met you so long ago and when I look at Lindsey's pictures I can't believe she is a teenager! Time really does fly!! You are awesome and are always in my thoughts and prayers sweetie! I wish you and Dean could have been at my CD Release party! Praise Jesus, I had a major record label's president Lisa call me 2 weeks ago! The label is out of New York City! A major record deal for me is in the works so I will keep you posted!!
