Josip aka Joseph Ifanye Opara-Nadi (Dad from Nigeria) was born on a cool spring evening in Jackson, Mississippi at Baptist Hospital on April the 14th, 1993. He always stood out with his own unique style and always knew who he was, where he came from, and where he was going. The love of performing and entertaining others instilled within him a desire to be involved with the industry of music.
In Junior High School listening to other rappers, including his brother who had just opened an in-house studio inspired him to start rapping for fun. Josip started to upload his music to an online community site called BEBO that which people that went to his school were on the site so he started to get feedback for his music from people at school. He did music the whole summer and started to realize that people appreciated and showed much love and respect for what he was doing when he went out.
As time passed by he started to become more profound with what he wanted to do and got better at it too. When he started to get more serious with rap, he started his Myspace page and launched www.josipondeck.com. He and his best friend, Lil Ace, started to do shows in 2008 and he started his record label 1000 Stacks ENT. He linked up with SIP RECORDS (B-Nadi) and started doing shows across the country.
He started his Myspace page in early 2007 but was hacked and re-started back at the end of 2008. In a short 7 months he has already gained millions of plays. He is one of the best to be so young and a few record labels have tried to get him. Even rapper Soulja Boy Tell Em who Josip once looked up to has hopped on the Josip train. At being the young age of 16 with so much accomplished, Josip appears to make it look like the music industry has an open space just for him.
