The J.O. Trio is the latest musical offering from pianist/percussionist/ composer/songwriter, Jonathan Ovalle. Joined by bassist, Matt Henninger (Funktelligence, Balancing Act, Kris K Trio) and drummer, Mike Gabelman (City Goat, Kris K Trio) together they create a brand of original music which seamlessly combine all of their musical influences. A mixed blend of piano-driven funky pop, jazz, and RnB, the J.O. Trio performs original music in a similar vein as pop/jazz greats Bruce Hornsby and Jamie Cullum.
