Here's a little background on some of the artists I have been working with:
James Devlin (Survival), delivers the fruit and veg to Portobello Market in Nottinghill. He hasn't got a myspace page, though this man needs to be heard. What a voice!!!
Maxfield recently signed to Tricky and Chris Blackwell's label 'Brownpunk', Valerie having many years of experience being the singer of both 'Groove Armada' and 'Free Stylers' puts on a great show everytime!
Flaxton is a poet with many collaborations, including Heidi Jo Hines:
Heidi Jo Hines You can really hear the rock and roll in Heidi's voice coming from a musical family, daughter of Denny Laine (Moody Blues/Wings) and rock chic, Jo Jo Laine.
Craig Walker , now solo following many successful years with 'The Power of Dreams' and 'Archive'. We recently did a tour of Greece where we had an interview on MTV and live airplay on Patras' Mojo Radio.
Nord feat Craig Walker Craig often works with producers and artists around the world following much success in and around Europe. He played some of our tracks to a band in Paris called 'Nord'. They loved our track, 'Into the Void' in which they have decided to cover, consisting both French and English lyrics (Craig singing the chorus). The video is on the right for viewing. The original version of this track is on my playlist, which was originally an improvised, arranged jam.
Eastman Project Dance/ bleepy sounds from East London's soul singer Kevin East
I am Julian Chown, Music Producer based on the famous Kings Road, London, UK. My studio has LA2a and Neve analogue equipment which sounds fat and warm, Neumann U87 mics, a vocal-booth, Protools, Cubase 4, Melodyne, Waves, Korg, Ensoniq, Arturia, rhodes/ wurlitzer piano's and various outboard analogue synths - everything needed to make professional music for both signed and up coming artists.
In the creative process, I usually get to hear a song an artist has written, then move on to creating & producing the music, on to recording vocals; work out some harmonies (if needed), and mix everything together for a radio ready sounding mix that sounds like a million quid! ;). If your plan is to hand your tracks to record/ radio companies, they'll love what they'll hear.
This year my music has been in the top 10 in the US radio charts at 2, with "Patrissia - Green Eyes" Fargain Records (style: R+B/ rock), whilst last year I had a couple of tracks signed to Sony BMG in Europe - Greece (rock - with a Pink Floyd edge).
So, you've come to the right place!
Give me a call or send me an email to book some studio time, and have a chat with me about what you want to do.
"Wicked mate, the track sounds awesome!xx" - Craig Walker - Discograph/ Sony BMG.
"Wow, we're no.8 in the US charts Joules, and I'm off to Japan next week as they want me over there for a radio interview too - looking up... Thanks so much!!" - Patrissia - Fargain Records
"Joules, I've been working with loads of producers over the years and none of them are like you. You are the most inspiring and you've got an edge to your sound." - Valerie M (Groove Armada/ Freestylers/ Maxfield) - Brown Punk/ Island Records.

The concept behind "Tha London Undaground" was to perform Live House & Electro music with live instrumentalists and vocals, preferably through the groups very own 15k Sound System which they perform through every given opportunity, depending on the logistics of the venue.
The idea and group "Tha London Undaground" were formed In June of 2008 by James O'Brien. Having just studied on a BTEC National Diploma in Music Technology, James had spent a lot of time recording sessions and experimenting in the studio with various musicians, the most influential was percussionist Peter Hamilton, Pete at the time quoted "he would love to take the idea out of the studio onto the stage". And that sparked the beginning for Tha London Undaground.
As quickly as the idea came along, with it came the need for a guitarist. The arrival of Alan Goss came when he and James found each other coincidentally, at the time Alan was looking to work with a house/Dance orientated group or producer and a mutual friend put the two together. This was the main starting block for the group switched on the green light for the writing, and rehearsal of what was to be their first set.
Nine months of writing and recording later and the set was complete. It was whilst recording that it was decided in order to fit into one specific genre of music, they would have to keep to certain guidelines in every track. This would ensure they were maintaining a sound that doesn't stray too far away from what it is meant to be IE."Live House & Electro". The only way to achieve this was by pre-recording and processing the drums and the bass line in every track. This would help keep to the consistency that dance music has, a tight punchy kick and bass line holding everything together.
After recording several tracks the group decided th
Alan here.
Packing me boots, stringing me guitars and getting ready for the next two weeks. Don't be frightened to shout out any songs off the album you want to hear and don't forget the crazier you are the crazier we are.
Look forward to seeing you in the asylum at the end of the tour.
hi joules, thanks for the add.. the 2nd track with the soul voice on is my sort of vibe, i guess, though i',m a bit more bluesy/jazz but i like experimenting, i like that kind of marvin gaye/maxwell, freefall kind of vocalising.. where the voice drifts along oganicially with the music..
i see we have a mutual friend in marco girolami, the photographer in italy, so talented
he's been kind with my music, he had good morning heartache on his page as his profile song for a while which was cool, i must go and say hi to him
Thanx a lot for the friendship! Keep up the good work! And let your soul be your pilot - today, tommorow, always! From Russia with love... MAX DMITRIEFF, singer & songwriter www.myspace.com/KatherinesFavorites

Just a quick note to say that "through the trees" has been added to the subLAD MySpace player - it's the first track on my forthcoming album, entitled "where the land meets the sky".
We have also put up a preview of the whole album on the n5MD website:
It’s been far too long since I last said hello and so much has happened I thought it about time we did.
We’ve changed a lot, now we are an “UltraModern, post-electro rock, post-nu rave behemoth where Muse and Mansun meet a Massive Attack with Duran Duran pop sensibilities, louder guitars, and a stunning female front person/guitar virtuoso”, or so we have been told.
I’d love to know what you’ve been up to since we disappeared into the dark damp studio cave, let us know how it’s going, I’m always up for a chat! May your thoughts be Scarlet and your actions Blonde ;-) Dawn xx Scarlet/blonde
