Julia Poplawska is polish TV journalist.
Julia has been working for Canal +, Newsweek Polska as a correspondent in Denmark for three years. She also did her tv reportages in Scotland, Ireland, Denmark and Poland for TVP. Among many she spoke with polish president Lech Walesa, Philip Glass, Danish photographer Jacob Holdt, Scottish writer Neal Ascherson. She did many films about polish filmmakers and actors for Kino Polska Television. For last year she covered stories for TVP about polish women traveling a lot through polish exotic cities.
She did a documentary for TVP - "Children of Dalailama" - about Tibetans living in Poland and their culture and film about Poles who hid and helped Jews during II war in Warszawa - "Polish Righteous".
She had just made an interview with H.H. Dalai Lama for TVP while he was visiting Poland. She is student of Andrzej Wajda Master School of Directing - documentary course in Warsaw.
She just finished doc. about GMO in Poland.
She constantly dreams about making documentary about Greenland!!!
