This version of Another Dead Hero formed in early 2006
Another Dead Hero’s latest offering once again shows a distinct progression of the band’s ever changing sound. With triple guitars, bass and percussion the record moves from the darkest plunges of human existence to the angelic callings of our innermost thoughts.
This new material displays the band’s versatility and presence, with Saunders (C), Marsala, Saunders (R) and Houghton generating sheer visceral force as well as subtle intricacies throughout the record. Meanwhile, Allum and Burley create solid and at times manic rhythms that bring the apocalyptic rumble of the music to life.
With the beautiful vocals of Laura Kate Davies and the tortured growl of Tom Halliday, the new record is dark, violent and unforgiving, yet it maintains an air of hope within the crumbling world within.

THE PIER presents at the Prince’s Theatre Clacton on Friday 18th JULY 08 ARCADIA, support by SHOOT THE MESSENGER, THE BLACKENING, and ON A DOWN. This will be one of the rare occasions that metal music will be given a chance to be on a big stage in North East Essex at a principal venue, and to rock the house in Clacton. And will need as many metal fans as possible to make this gig a truly member able event.
All you bands and fans who support this genre of music will know how tough it is to get a real venue to make this happen, so we are asking you to get all your supporters to come to this gig. If we can fill the house, we can seriously look at further metal gigs at the Prince’s in Clacton for all you Metal bands and fans.
We need you all to spread the word; if you could message me back if you’re interested, tickets are £5.00 from Rick at THE PIER, or £8.00 on the night from the theatre box office. Phone Rick on 07974-908922 to get your ticket/s
you boys kicked arse yet again. your set seemed well short tho. maybe it was just me. as for the coach well...................... i'll just say you had to be there. an eventfull night all round
independent music mag... It's starting to develop noW
If you want to be involved send me a message to let me know what you want to do. e.g. photographer, writer, artist, illustrator, etc.
I'd like to hear from bands who would like a plug, review, etc...
Roles will be allocated on a first come first serve basis, send any examples of your work to .... mynansmellsofwee@hotmail.com or just message me to find out more. .......... ......... I'm poorly with some nasty throat infection or something but I'll have an outline and more info later.
Basically it's going to be an independent music magazine. Similar, but better than Grapevine or Musiczine.... It'll feature interviews with local bands and anyone we can blag an interview with(!), Local original artwork, up and coming Gigs, Festival guides, witty repartee and rants, Reviews and something a bit special. Something more profound and real than NME and their generic drawling.. if original, underground music and music events float your boat... get involved....
I'm doing this because I desperately want there to be something better than the awful NME, in the wake of Melody Maker's death there is nothing intelligent on offer. Simply 'scenesters' and idiots contributing to the machine that is robbing music of identity..... ...Vive Le Revolution....
