God inspires us to live for Him more. Jesus gives us the power to do so; and the Holy Spirit pricks our hearts to yearn for the day that we see God face to face. Pure Worship coming from hearts that want to see God move in the lives of each person that hears.
Journey Home is a Worship Rock band from South Georgia. We rock it out while living for Him. We want to encourage and impact the world for the cause of Christ. Music is a tool to touch the hearts and lives of kids as well as adults. We want to be the sharpest tool that we can be, so that when He calls, we can be ready. We have an interesting testimony as to how God calls us together and uses us when He is ready. It all started with William Sims feeling a call on his life to be a worship leader. God grabbed a hold of William and inspired him with a passion for Him and for music, unlocking talent that William probably did not even believe at the time. William’s brother and fellow songwriter Josh was the choice for a bass player since Josh had been involved in leading worship for their youth group throughout high school. There have been many more changes to the line up of musicians that have gotten to participate in Journey Home since its formation, but God always provides and equips the called. Roughly 12-14 people have had the opportunity to join the Sims brothers in their quest to lead people closer to the Throne of God with their own special blend of rock music and powerful worship inspired lyrics. We all hope and pray that God will reign supreme in your life as you slowly approached the day that you will meet Him face to face.
