    Il Joyful Gospel Group, gruppo Gospel e Spiritual di Venezia, vanta una serie di concerti, collaborazioni e partecipazioni a rassegne, eventi e manifestazioni nella provincia di Venezia e non solo. Il gruppo è da circa 5 anni anni completamente autogestito e autodiretto e si esibisce in differenti locations come piazze, chiese, teatri, locali dando il meglio di sé in differenti occasioni, spesso anche a scopo benefico. Il Joyful Gospel Group (7 cantanti, basso, batteria, piano) si esibisce con una rosa di brani riarrangiati che vanno dagli spiritual più classici, le canzoni degli schiavi Afroamericani costretti a lavorare nei campi di cotone del sud degli States, ai Gospel più contemporanei contaminati da altri generi come ad esempio il Rhythm and Blues e l'Hip hop. La scaletta che il gruppo propone tocca anche gli albori del Gospel, genere che ha influenzato poi tutta la musica a venire, compreso il Rock 'n' Roll. La passione per l'ascolto, lo studio e l'interpretazione della musica Gospel e Spiritual, l'impegno in questo progetto musicale comune ed anche un forte legame affettivo sono gli ingredienti che hanno sempre tenuto assieme e che continuano ancora oggi ad unire i componenti del gruppo e che rendono il Joyful Gospel Group un ensemble vocale unico nel suo genere. The Joyful Gospel Group, a Gospel and Spiritual musical ensemble from Mestre (Venice), boasts a series of concerts, collaborations and participation in events in the area of Venice and beyond. The group has been completely self-directed since 2007 and has performed in different locations such as huge squares, churches, theatres and clubs giving its best in different occasions, often for charity purposes. The Joyful Gospel Group (7 singers, bass, drums and piano) performs a list of songs ranging from revisited Spiritual classics - the songs of the African American slaves forced to work in the cotton fields of the southern States - to more contemporary Gospels contaminated with other genres such as Rhythm and Blues and Hip hop. The group's repertoire also includes early Gospel songs, which have influenced all music genres to come, including Rock 'n' Roll. The love and will to sing, the passion for Gospel music and a strong bond of affection are the ingredients that have always tied and kept the group united and unique in its kind.
