Each year, in communities all across the United States and Canada,
families, friends, neighbors and teams from local businesses and
national companies come together for The Leukemia & Lymphoma
Society's (LLS's) Light The Night Walk events to bring help and hope to
people battling blood cancers. My friends and I are walking in honor of
our friend Missy who was diagnosed with Leukemia a few months ago. She
has undergone 3 rounds of chemo and will soon be needing a bone marrow
transplant. As our friend fights for her life we are doing everything
we can to help and support her. I am sure a good handful of my myspace
friends have at some point known of someone or have had a friend or
loved one battle some form of cancer. When something like this happens
to someone we love...we try to do everything we can to help. This is a
chance to help for a great cause. My friends and I would greatly
appreciate any donation even if its $1. Please help us reach our team
goal! If everyone on my friends list donated just a dollar...we'd be
set! This is for such a great cause! Thank you!

am planning another benefit for my friend Missy who was diagnosed with
Leukemia a few months ago. She has been going through chemo and it
doesn't seem to be helping. She will need a bone marrow transplant and
will soon be losing her health insurance. The benefit is Sunday Oct. 4
from noon to 8pm at the Paxtang Grill in Harrisburg, PA. Its $10 at the
door, Free food, Cash bar, all the proceeds go to Missy to help her
with her medical bills. In July we raised $2800 for her! I want to
raise more than that this time around! I was wondering if my friends
could possibly help me spread the word. What can I do to get the event
out there? If you have any ideas or can help me in any way I would
really appreciate it! We will be raffling off gift certificates so if
anyone would like to help out and donate....pls don't hesitate to
message me.
