Sounds Like
Something that won't hurt your ears, I hope. My new CD covers several genres of music. It has country, folk, classic rock, pop, and blues. Just like Indiana weather, if you don't like it stick around it will change. :-)
REASON FOR THIS PAGE:
To meet, talk, and network with writers of books and music...yours and mine. To make friends with those who love to read and listen to music.
To inspire and be inspired. :-)
Joy Miller is a singer, musician, songwriter, and author, currently working to release her new 12-song CD Love on a Carousel Soundtrack along with her romance suspense fiction novel Love on a Carousel both due out Nov/Dec 2009. Joy has performed with such artists as Jim Glaser, Carl Perkins, Ernest Tubb & the Texas Troubadours, Freddie Hart, T.G. Shepard, & Merle Kilgore.
Joy loves sports cars, Harleys (though she doesn't have one) sailboats (nope not one of them either), listening to her friend's music, reading books, writing books, writing songs, and...SUMMER! She is busy writing another suspense romance novel with a soundtrack.
Special Thanks to my dear friend Jim Glaser (who is still in my corner), Cathy Pelletier, and Don Reid ( The Statler Brothers) for all their encouragement and advice over the years. My gratitude to Dr. Laurel Eakin and Beverly Skinner at Brookston Chiropractic, my family, and friends, for their encouragement. A very special thanks to Jeff Trott and Peter Stroud for their creative musical influence and inspiration.
