The 10 Track Disc was mastered by 2008 Juno Award nominee, George Seara (Recording Engineer of the Year) and was recorded at the renowned B Musique Studios in Toronto, Canada. Joyslam's Music is now receiving Airplay on Radio Stations throughout North America, Australia, UK, Europe and Asia as well as Multi Music Professional DJ Series, Hott Traxx cd's – sharing disc space with the Pussycat Dolls, Rihanna, T.I and Simple Plan. And Hott Roxx cd's – sharing disc space with the Black Label Society, Metric, My Chemical Romance and Death Cab for Cutie. And by thousands of the CFL's Toronto Argonaut Football fans with a high-octane performance at the Rogers Centre.
With over a decade of Music and Drama experience behind him, RJ has an intense passion for the arts, particularly music. After touring throughout North America, RJ cut his ties with Acting and concentrated all his efforts on Singing, and has expanded his range to 5 octaves.
Joyslam’s rhythm section compliments RJ’s performance intensity by delivering a sound that is one of resounding groove, energy and flow - resulting in the rare balance of both technicality and feel.
