Um.. I am a boy who resides in the hot ass city of Jozi. I'm rather new to this whole myspace thing, but have decided to give it a go since EVERYONE is doing it. I guess that does make me a bit of sheep, but sheep are cool because they're always warm with all that wool around their bodies. So, baaah.
I have a very active blog --> Joburgboy. Please go check it out, but I'm hoping to make this myspace thing rather active too.
I am currently 23 years old, which feels a little old when compared to 22 (don't know why this is the case, however). I am in my final year of a law degree, having done my BA and one year of law already. I rather love university, and enjoy embracing every moment of student life. I am the president of the Wits Model UN Society, a position that I really enjoy because I think it has given me a great deal of experience in leadership and time management.
I work at a bookstore in a lovely suburb of Johannesburg. I generally speaking LOVE my job, as I work with fantastic people and I get to meet really interesting people too. My job is also kewl because I don't really have to do THAT much work, but I still get paid a nice little salary.
This salary goes straight into my social life, which I think is rather active and fun ass. I enjoy trying out new restaurants and bars, and have attempted to create a mini-guide to Johannesburg, albeit with not much success because I can get quite lazy sometimes. However, whilst I'm about it, I would like to pimp George's on 4th in Parkhurst, not necessarily because the food is good, but because our waitor was a babe and a half.
Thinking I'm maybe babbling here, so guess if you wanna know more about me, just follow my blog. Simple, neh?
Never got a chance to talk to you about the GK-Law Council talk with Edwin, Fikile and Farooq. I got there late and had to leave during question time but, for the bit I was there for, I thought it went great. Fantastic turnout! Kudos to the team that put that together!
