關於我： Jason Parchert is steadily on his way to becoming a household name. Jason's traditional, deep country voice and songs with a positive message have earned him international recognition as a singer and a songwriter. One listen to his music and you'll see why Jason has been compared to legends such as Haggard, Cash, and Jones.
Jason's debut CD, Love Stained Heart, was released in late '99 and You Were, the first single, was released to Americana radio worldwide in early 2000. The song hit the Country market in July of 2000 and after getting airplay across the country, was released to Christian Country radio. There Jason found his way onto the Christian Country Top 80 with his debut single. You Were spent three months on the Top 80 and debuted on the European Christian Country chart at #22 in April 2001!
Jason's success has not happened overnight by any means. Jason spent two years working as a DJ at WRMJ, Aledo playing "the Country's Best Songs" and he decided at age 20 it was time to move to Music City and start making his own name in Country Music. The Reynolds, IL native moved to Nashville in January of 1997 with all he owned in the back of his S-10 pick-up truck.
After five years in Nashville Jason has become a regular at songwriters clubs and cafes around town. In 2000 he put together a tour to promote his cd with stops in several cities across the nation to play fairs, festivals, radio stations, and acoustic shows from Atlanta and Winston-Salem to Denver and St. Paul.
Jason's hard work and persistence have helped open several doors which are paving the way to a long career in the music business.
Deciding to stay off the road, Jason has spent the last two years entertaining crowds in the Nashville area and writing new material. Jason's latest project is a Christian Country album containing six original songs and six hymns. Three of those songs have already made it into the Christian Country charts. In this album you hear what's at the heart of Jason Parchert. His laid back, Don Williams style of performing sets him apart from the growing trend of pop/country acts. With his unique ability to craft real life stories into songs and his natural stage presence Jason is bound to be around for quite awhile.
