A Bit Gamey..a full bodied red ..all my memories simultaneously imploding in my rearview! some dude trying to have some fun and cut some fat trxx
'Lil J grew up with music, and ..still likes it! :) he tries to write it and play it! (no! it's true!) ..yes he can dig Chess Blues Masters & Chopin Piano Concertos, boff Country and Western! .He has a large family w/ lots of uncles & aunts that are mostly free now, who played music and had wicked record collections..From Buck to Chuck,Bix to Miles,Sgt Pepper to Flip Winslow Homer ,go man go
JP started playing bass during sixth grade spring break and found himself playing in Toronto bands like The Other Side & The Dead Heroes with Eric Schenkman of The Spin Doctors & Viletone axeman Kurt Schefter, he was also w/ artist/Musician Pete Dako a founding member of Casual Casual along w/ Rent Boy Woolie (Simon Lambert) J also kicked it w/The Silver Foxes w/ Screamin' Sam's Steve Koch and Johnny McCloud .JP became a bad name dropper apparently...
At age nineteen he moved to Nashville and hit the road with Ray Sawyer (Dr. Hook). They traveled the world playing joints of all shapes and sizes with some great musicians. Touring with this great performer/bad mama jamma, Alabama Hall-of-Famer served as colorful musical/cultural education for 'lil J
Heading back to the Great White North, JP landed in Vancouver and played with wicked guitarist /writer Jim Foster (Fosterchild,One Horse Blue) and kuntry kutie T.M. Harding. He also co-wrote a tune on the Spin Doctors hit record,Pocket Full Of Kryptonite More Than She Knows
All roads lead to Rome and after stops and bands in NYC and Seattle, JP ended up in LA where he has been playing and writing w/The Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show (a former Largo staple now a canceled, but on again in re-runs -YES! airing on the Comedy Central Network un-dead!! )some sample clips below, beware

The Naked Trucker sings My American Dream
Recently he’s been enlisting friends like Andy Paley, Jake Posner, TC Chan, and Eric Schenkman to help work on his forthcoming record .. Tracks have been laid down at his home studio in Burbank (The Oven), as well as Dusty Wakeman’s Mad Dog Studios, and Richard Barron’s Sonoho Recorders.Recently he had the privilege of having Jon Astley from Close To The Edge Mastering U.K. master three songs, Runnin' Wild ,Drive and Not Saying for his upcoming record "Last Exit To Burbank"..he also recently was featured in the UK's Sound On Sound magazine Magazine in their "Delusional American Hack section"
JP was fortunate enough to get to lay down some bass tracks on the new Sponge Bob record,The Best Day Ever which was produced by legendary mother fucker and friend of Patti Smith Andy Paley. (google him..wow) He’s also been playing out a little with Sponge Bob & The Hi-Sea’s featuring Tom Kenny on lead vocals and Elliot Easton on Guitar & He also continues to play in the now defunct Naked Trucker Show while squeezing in the occasional upright and electric session for TV and film. As well as doing cartoon soundtracks and one off cafe sets around the City of Angels(?) He co wrote the Main title Theme To Lets Go To Prison
J can usually be found parked on 1 of the many LA area "free"ways pounding the steering wheel w/ his forehead while he bounces some Satie Tone poem
JP has two cool kids that make him smile and wince .Bronwyn (6), and Harley (17), and has been married to a Vancouver girl, Hilleri Anderson, for twelve years. When not wailing out in the back room of the house, practicing writing in the 3rd person, or pacing in a Napoleon costume, JP can be found carrying couches in circles for kooks as a set dresser on a Fox Forensic model show, selling Pepsi for "The Man" and is a member of IATSE local 44 as well as the AF of M, AFTRA, and ASCAP.He enjoys a truth stranger than fiction and discussing philosophy w/ his Fox Terrier, Asspania. JP is a Democrat ,Libra, neon rainbow chasing S.O.B. w/ Brain Fever currently in anger management courses @Shakey City College...word! He has a passport and no charges pending so buy,buy ,buy and vote for a change
