WHO IS THIS JP HOE?
Following the previous success of his first two projects; "The Here in Review" EP, and "The Live Beta Project", which sold thousands of copies without the support of a record label, J.P. Hoe delivers his first full length studio album "The Dear John Letters". A collection of 18 songs that J.P. describes as "an honest mixture of melody and subject matter", the album is a marriage of Indie-rock, Alt-country, and traditional singer/songwriter.
"The Dear John Letters" set for a summer 2008 release is poised to establish J.P. as one of Canada's elite songwriters and performers.
A native of Winnipeg Manitoba, J.P. is thrilled to be releasing "The Dear John Letters" and performing at the highly acclaimed Winnipeg Folk Festival. Showcasing the fresh new record to the festivals international audience will put a spotlight on J.P., his performance will have festival goers walking away with the very first copies of Hoe's new album.
He is no stranger to the stage having toured with Jann Arden in 2007, and performing in famed city's New York, Chicago, and Austin his songs and personality have left a lasting impression on music lovers across the continent. J.P. can deliver an entertaining performance guitar in hand on his own or with the support of his back up band the Truly Richards.

I gave the live beta project a spin album a healthy spin again on the bus yesterday. SOLID. It had been a while since i played it start to finish. Good music... possibly even great.
