Learning about The Trinity which is God the Father - God The Son (Jesus Christ) - God the Holy Spirit. I really love to read books, always filling my mind with more knowledge, like placing a sponge in water and just soaking up knowledge, analyzing the economy, working with numbers, trading options and predicting business and social trends. Oh yes, really exciting stuff :-D But I must be careful, as worldly knowledge can take me away from His Word, and that is a terrible thing!
Music
I have spent my life soooo wrapped up in music, I used to idolize Jim Morrison of The Doors, Layne Staley of Alice In Chains, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Cypress Hill, Pink Floyd, the worlds top dance/electronic artists like Deep Dish, Nick Warren, The Chemical Brother, The Crystal Method and others.
It became such an addiction truthfully! I listened to it from as soon as I woke up, had it on my iPod's when I was out, turned it on when I got home, then drank or smoked or whatever until I could fall asleep.
In order to focus myself better upon the Lord my God, I got rid of all of this music. NOT because it was ALL sinful, though lots of it was, but because it was a major distraction for me from my studies of Christ and it pulled me away from Him and into thoughts of my former lifestyle which was NOT Christian by any means!
So I am by no means anti music, I just need the quiet stillness to allow me to focus on His will for my life.
Movies
I used to also be a movie fiend, but Hollywood produces so much garbage, I simply had to end my love affair with it. This goes for TV too! I no longer have TV, I do not watch but a couple movies a year (Ratatioulle, National Treasure, etc.) and I watch the show Lost. I know that these movies have sin in them too. Nothing in this world is without sin, and honestly I do not know how to deal with that, so I've gotten rid of my cable and my Netflix subscription and watch very little.
Is this the best thing to do? I don't know, but I do know that I was saturated in sinful lusts and movies and TV shows didn't help me at all, so I do know that I've been way more blessed without them.
Television
Sermons by John Piper, John MacArthur, Jerry Mitchell, and Paul Washer, however, I don't have television (by choice) and so I watch these men of God on Podcast which downloads automatically to my iTunes and I listen to my local church's Podcasts by Jerry Mitchell but no longer Jason Turner as he preaches a watered down Gospel. I also like to join my parents and little sister to watch Poirot and Sherlock Holmes shows when I am out at their house, as well as the only show I watch but on ABC.com is LOST! :-D
Books
The Holy Bible, I have been blessed to receive several Bibles from family and friends, they are John MacArthur's Study Bible, the Amplified Bible, the Life Principles NKJV Bible by Charles Stanley, the NIV Student Bible, the ESV Bible hardcover and a pocket size ESV Bible I carry around practically everywhere I go! I need to find some people to give some of these to :-)
Amongst my favorite authors are, J. Dwight Pentecost, J.I. Packer, and John MacArthur.

Heroes
Literally speaking, my Lord and my Salvation Jesus Christ!
Mom & Dad, David, Catherine, Jim Wright, all the pastors I've mentioned above, and though I sincerely love my other siblings Bethany, Carolyn, Rebecca, Melissa, Vanessa, Shawn and Grady, Sandra and Dan, they are all pretty much living like the world and so they are not my heroes. I am so sad for them, I petition the Lord daily, nightly, I bring them before the church weekly through prayer requests. I am powerless to save them, as they are powerless to save themselves, but by prayer which He commands us to do for them, I hope that He will choose to rescue them all. Please pray for them also :-)

By the Grace and Mercy of God:
1. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!!!!! He is everything to me. My rock in this very anxious and strange world. He is my strength, my energy, security and life! And though I am as black and wicked a sinner as is imaginable, His death at the Cross is MORE powerful than anything! I am saved by Grace from God the Father, through Faith in His Son Jesus Christ and and He is building me into His righteousness, but I will stumble and fall all over myself, until I am raised up to Him in Glory!
2. Reading The Bible (His Word) on a daily basis, never being far from His Word! I read His Word because I need my fill of His Holy Word to keep me going and I'd be lost without His guidance for I am way too prone to self deception and vile acts! It truly is my only source of energy and sustenance in good times and bad! Life is a gift from my Heavenly Father whether you believe that or want to accept that or not. He IS Life and Truth and without Him is eternal torment!
3. My family. I have tons of siblings and my parents. They are very dear to me and I love them all very much. I do pray for them daily, that God's grace come upon them and His mighty hand work in their hearts, that He grant them repentance and belief in Jesus Christ. If you are a Christian and reading this, Please pray for them too.
4. Hiking into the mountains with my brother and his 4yr old dog, Trip. I love it out there. Life can be blissful when you are off on a journey on an unknown trail with no place to go exactly and just soaking up all of God's creation and generosity, the beauty of nature and His glorious skies above. And all the while pushing my body to the absolute limit that I can. Or sometimes just walking and viewing God's creation without exerting too much energy :-P
5. Trading Options and analyzing market trends. I really dig this stuff man!
6. Being single and enjoying what the Lord allows me and has to offer. I used to want to be married, but that is way to much of a distraction at this point in my life, as I am still a young Christian and need God's Word to saturate my heart wellll before I get into a relationship and I am also utterly dismayed at the trends not only in America but worldwide and I sincerely believe that this is a horrible time to bring a child into this world, for their sake.
7. I really enjoy talking with all sorts of people but especially other true believers and also reading, music, debating and analyzing, creating new or more efficient ways of doing things, just seeing what it is that Jesus Christ will do with my life. Like it is a piece of clay, mold it, reshape it, because in the scope of eternity, it is a flash, it has been a flash so far, and as Dan said something to the effect of "This very moment is now the past, and the future is the now the present which is now the past." Or something like that, hehe :-P This in no way means to live life now for tomorrow we die, but that the present is immediately the past, as even what I have written has already occurred and is behind me and now you have already read "past" it, and so the future is now as you are now to this word, oops that's now over too :-D See how fleeting life is? God is in control of all things, He allows all things, He is Sovereign and we are dead already, we just haven't come to that moment just yet, but the fact is, just as someone who was born during the American Revolution was utterly alive as much as we are now, but they are now dead and have been for 50 generations or whatever, and the reality is that it doesn't end with you dying physically, but then you either enter into His Kingdom, or you will instantly be eternally seperated from The Lord and all light, life, joy, peace, happiness, companionship and comfort and spend forever and eve in torment. Truth, whether you want to accept it or not! Even Satan knows this and so do ALL who have ever died! They are in one of those to eternal realities now!
Who I'd like to meet:
Fellow believers in the Lord Jesus Christ mostly, and then non believers whom I can share the Gospel with, but I struggle with this one as I'm a timid person by nature and the Holy Spirit is working on me over this. I just feel so uplifted, inspired and happy when I see people who love the Lord! It helps me to want to live a more Christ centered life for His Glory and good pleasure (though I am wretched and un-Christ like right now) and creates in me a desire to bring others to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. God is AMAZING!!! And I hope you (whoever reads this) may look to Him for your Salvation and submit your whole being, to His will for you! There is nothing greater than God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit! And there is nothing worse than Jesus NOT knowing you which means that He is not your Savior!

Hey Johnny, sorry I'm so terrible in responding, I don't have internet at my house. I got back from Cali last Sunday. We should definitely hang out! Need to take advantage of being in the same city. And I'm going to try to be at mom and dad's on Thursday to take care of my taxes.. we'll see if it works out. Call me for sure, I work most days til 1pm. MWA!
