layout powered by HOTFreeLayouts.com / MyHotCommentsBorn in walterboro South Carolina. i didn't know what i really wanted to do with my life, until one day my father bought me a beginner's keyboard for christmas, and never taking any lessons kept messing with it until i finally knew how to play it. i always had an ear for music so when i hear the notes i can play it after. but i still didn't know what i actually wanted to do with this talent, so i started playing for my home church.when i turned the age of 14 my cousin, who is a matser at the bass guitar and who played for the temptations and etc. and who now is preparing a track for Donnie From Making the band 4, gave me the fruity loops Producing software where i then learned to produce beats. i never really knew i could sing until i found myself at my highschool's talent showcase with and R@B group that i formed at the time named O-Ficial. we song a song that i wrote and produced Called "One wish part 2" and the croud went crazy, then i knew that i wanted to become and Recording artist. I left the group and became solo then changing my name to "slick-g". i kept striving to perfect my craft, many labels that i came across wanted to sign me but we never got nothing done. finally my break came when Mr. Charles "Don-Mega" Fredricks Heard of me and wanted to hear me in person so i performed for him and that same week we got the deal done. but he didn't like Slick-g as my artist name so he changed it to "J-Shyne" now after almost 2 years from performing my first solo album is coming out in april. so get at me. my first single "Take it low" is out and will soon be on myspace soon!!!!!!!!!
