JSOC Mission Statement
The Joint-Special-Operations-Command "J.S.O.C." is an association of tactical scenario teams founded in September, 2005 by several east coast paintball teams. These original teams were: The Undertakers, Team Extreme Measures, Team Ambush Alpha, Team Midnight Raiders and Section 8. The association grew as the teams constantly found themselves on the same side in area scenario games and after time playing together became more than just a game to them. They became friends and family. In a patriotic gesture they all made a pact to fight the Allied Side in any scenario that offered that choice. So if there was a game that involved a U.S. American or Allied side, they wore the red white and blue. Soon after word got around about the J.S.O.C. new teams that had the same ideals joined up on the roster. To be a part of the JSOC means you are playing paintball for more reasons than one. Supporting the game,the players and the passion of the game, is part of the commitment to play along side the J.S.O.C. and support the Allied side in the game and in spirit for all our Armed Forces.
JSOC team members do not change there Official Team name, but the patch is worn by all united under one banner. Each team represents a Unit of the JSOC. Each unit plays a decisive role in strategy and planning when you see the J.S.O.C. appear at your next Scenario Game. Our mission is to involve as many scenario teams and individuals into the games. Feeling the passion for the game. Going out and having a great time. Being an important part of the game is better than just showing up. (but if that's your choice, that's cool too). This is all about "scenario game role play is what we are all about. Feeling the part and role of the game. And doing it with a great bunch of friends! Although we plan months in advance and take the game very seriously, make no mistake we are here to have a great deal of fun. The year is 1909, and with the launch of the automobile increasing the reach of farmers, and making oil a precious commodity, two Eccentric Billionaires get tired of their monthly high stakes poker game and have decided to play for the only thing that will leave each other at their mercy, Blood.
Colonel Red, a self made oil tycoon, has offered his workers full benefits and soldiers pay to take up arms in his merriment, and quickly drafted his own private army of hired guns. With his posse in tow, Colonel Red has come to the agreed upon field of battle, with one goal, to win at all costs.
Mr. Blue, is a well respected member of the Cattle Ranchers Association, but his hypocrisy only goes so far. Making millions both above and below the table in the cattle trade, Mr. Blue has amassed quite a few hired guns of his own. With little effort, Mr. Blue has rounded up his usual band of High stakes cattle rustlers to put an end to Colonel Red once and for all. In return, he’s offered equal shares to his newly acquired oil business, should they be victorious in this dangerous game of cards set to see who has the best poker face after all!
